As part of AAUW’s commitment to advancing gender equity through education, leadership, and advocacy, the NYC branch’s Rising Leaders Internship Program is designed to help cultivate the next generation of changemakers in New York.

 

The program equips exceptional high school students with the knowledge and skills needed to become influential voices advancing gender equity through public service, policy, and community leadership. They also have the opportunity to attend AAUW New York State’s Annual Meeting and network with AAUW members, public officials, and policymakers from across the state, gaining insight into leadership, governance, and advocacy at a statewide level.
