AAUW NYC Metro | The New York City Branch of the American Association of University Women

AAUW’s NYC Metro branch is a network of scholars, executives, and allies advancing gender equity through education, collaboration, and collective action.

We connect faculty, students, and professionals across campuses and disciplines to exchange knowledge, amplify research, and champion New York City as a global hub for progress and innovation.

Together, we harness our collective power to expand opportunities for under-resourced communities, elevate academic-to-public thought leadership, and shape culture. Our vision is a city where research and advocacy drive systemic change, and where the next generation of leaders has the tools and networks to thrive.
